Grey alu-clad windows, internal doors, flat entrance doorsets and balcony doors supplied to an urban renaissance project in an unusual building with industrial heritage and an architectural landmark for Leicester Square in a partnership between Thomas Fish and Metropolitan Housing Partnership. Leicester Square is a ground breaking, energy efficient development providing 350 homes for sale, shared ownership and rental in the city centre of Leicester. The unusual building is reminiscent of the old hosiery mills the region is famous for. Janex high specification on double glazed timber windows with grey aluminium cladding, and a low u-value of 1.6W/m2K won them this project, along with the ability to deliver the whole package of windows and doors from one source.
