Kingsland Road, London - Laing O’Rourke
Community Housing Association has developed a mixed use regeneration scheme at Kingsland Road, Hackney in London, a £12.9m development by JLP. A combination of 87 affordable homes, commercial space, urban square, canal side garden and children’s play area meets a variety of local needs. Janex provided high performance low maintenance alu-clad tilt and turn timber windows, alu clad French doors, front entrance doors and common entrance doors. Noise reduction was important with good acoustic values on the windows for the front of the development facing onto busy Kingsland Road.
