Crudens – Verde Glasgow Green, Queen Elizabeth Square
Janex supplied an unusual range of high quality Scandinavian timber tilt and turn windows, window screen facades, colour glazed fixed lights, canopy windows and timber balcony doors to the Cruden Verde project. 92 2-bedroomed apartments on north/south axis benefited from natural light and airiness.
Large sliding patio doors within the “winter garden” area of each apartment and fully finished white internal doorsets with brushed stainless steel effect handles gave the project a light and airy feel and high quality finish. The project is on Glasgow Green within sight of the famous “People’s Palace”, Glasgow’s answer to Kew. Double height glass spaces, provide daylight and stunning views over the city, within an effectively “closed” balcony area. 30 minute, fire rated flat entrance doorsets were finished in a highly polished walnut veneer with maple veneer inserts or glazed vision panels. 60 minute fire rated common entrance doorsets were also supplied.
